Jagniątków is situated at the foot of the Giant Mountains in the Wrzosówka valley (450–620 m a.s.l.) in the direct vicinity of the Giant Mountains National Park and tourist routes ideal for hiking and cycling mountain trips.

Formerly Agnetendorf, Jagniątków became a popular tourist destination in the 19th century and it still takes your breath away with its beautiful panorama of the Giant Mountains and picturesque location in the midst of nature. This is an excellent place for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and everyday rush, as well as those who value freedom and privacy, looking for charming settings outside crowded tourist resorts.

Thanks to its location, Jagniątków is perfect for spending your spare time actively — by going for hiking and cycling trips in the mountains or the nearby, picturesque forests. There are two tourist routes that lead from the town — “Pod Dębem” and “Jagniątków” — which can take you to, for example, the Chojnik Castle or the highest peak of the north-western Giant Mountains (Grzybowiec), or the Czarny Kocioł Jagniątowski cirque. Jagniątków is full of attractions also in winter — due to its topography, the snow remains for longer (as is the case with the Chojnik mountain), which creates great conditions for the lovers of cross-country skiing or more extreme experience of sleigh rides.

Jagniątków does not only stand for nature and wonderful views, but also rich history with multicultural legacy that may be seen everywhere. One of the must-see places is the Wiesenstein villa, a former house of a German Noble Prize winner, Gerhart Hauptmann, presently the Municipal Museum. Jagniątków is home to one of the most finely designed and preserved churches built in an architectural style characteristic of the Podhale region — Divine Mercy Church. Another place not to be missed is the nearby Chojnik Castle, one of the best-known castle ruins in Lower Silesia, the towers of which give you the most beautiful panorama of the Giant Mountains.
